Jewelry Care

Each piece of Natalie Lynn Jewelry is completely handcrafted and should be treated as such! Avoid lotions, chlorine, water and excess sweat. Find a good place to store your jewelry when it’s not being worn to avoid damage and tangled chains.

Sterling silver/ Stone Pieces

Sterling silver pieces LOVE to be worn! It sounds counterintuitive but the best way to keep these pieces from tarnishing is to wear them! If a sterling silver/ stone piece does start to tarnish, its best to keep away from harsh chemicals and jewelry cleaners as these tend to damage the surface of a lot of stones, especially softer stones like turquoise. Use a microfiber cloth to gently remove dirt and fingerprints. You can also head to your local hardware store and pick up VERY FINE steel wool (size 0000.) You can shine up sterling silver pieces using this and some warm soapy water.

Brass Pieces

Brass will get a little darker naturally. We personally think it tarnishes beautifully. However, if you’d like to shine up a brass pendant or pair of earrings, head to your local hardware store and pick up VERY FINE steel wool (size 0000.) You can shine up brass pieces using this and some warm soapy water. The chain on the brass necklaces is gold plated and will never tarnish.
